Hello!

My name is Joe Skellenger. I'm an Upper Michigan native and have been in business for over 14 years. I learned residential construction while trying to make ends meet - growing another (completely unrelated) business. In doing so, I completely fell in love with the trade.  I love the process of creating things with my hands and I take tremendous pride in everything I build! This is precisely how Smart-Shed came to fruition!

I've now spent years working with professional shed builders on the east coast, coordinating and developing this idea of high quality, fast turn-around sheds that are built on site. Building on site ensures minimal traffic on your lawn and that no fences or gates ever need to be removed. It also makes it possible for your building to go ANYWHERE!

 

Building high-end, customizable sheds AND saunas is the niche focus that has allowed me to perfect a process. My goal has always been to simply do one thing, very well! Our process ensures that we are not only consistent and efficient but also the highest quality!
